The Alonso Quijano School of Writers offers the possibility of arranging tailor-made courses for groups, whether for universities, enterprises, companies or any other institutions. We can also offer private lessons or small workshops all the year round. We devise our courses based on a methodology that involves a practical and intensive way of teaching, covering the requirements of our clients, not only in the subject matter but also in the context. The dates and times of the courses can be modified in accordance to the needs of our clients. Prices will be in accordance with the specific profiles of the course. The collaboration of our Alonso Quijano School of Writers with different private and public institutions gives us the chance to plan a truly complete program, with ample experience not only in the learning process, but also in the cultural, touristic and leisure aspects. We can provide specific methods which will allow our clients to accomplish the prospects they deserve while staying in Spain.

Our standard programs include the following:
• Liberal arts in “Don Quixote”: A course that digs out in the use of the language, literature and culture, traditions, gastronomy, and the castillian-manchego food, guided literary routes through Castilla La Mancha, birth place of Cervantes and land of noblemen and knights. Visit to the places where Cervantes was inspired to write his famous novel. Chivalric novel. Travel literature.
• Cervantes and the “Three Cultures”: The author and his literary work. The great academic discussion about the Spanish Golden Age. What Cervantes really wanted to transmit us? The religion. Ideas face to face. The Moors in Castilla La Mancha and their collection of folk ballards. The Aljamia manuscripts. The translation of “Don Quixote” to the Arabic language.
• Culture and traditions in Spain.
• Spanish in the whole world: Differences in vocabulary between the Spanish speaking countries. Cultural divergences.
• Oral skills: Pronunciation, context and objectives, strategies in the oral abilities, debates and discussions, public talks, Spanish slang.
• Writing skills: Writing in the professional area, structure for a proper Spanish writing, common mistakes in writing Spanish, creative writing.
• Spanish for a professional success: Presentations, Spanish for interviews, ways to behave in a business milieu, Spanish for the office, how to talk in public.
