THE ALONSO QUIJANO SCHOOL

WRITERS ASSOCIATION

The Alonso Quijano School Writers Association was founded according to the Spanish Law 1/2002, from 22nd March. It was registered in The Spanish National Register on 21st April 2009, with the        N. 592520. The Association is placed at the Convento de Santa Clara, Plaza de Santa Clara s/n Post Code 13600 and the Association is authorized to perform its teaching and literary activities over all the Spanish territory.

As a founding member, our School belongs to the European Association of Creative Writing Programmes (EACWP).

In addition, we have been the first School to obtain a certificate in Tourist Quality (SICTEC), We work together with public and private organisations like Patronato Municipal de Cultura de Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real), (Alcázar de San Juan Official CulturaI Association), Instituto de Juventud de Castilla La Mancha (Castilla La Mancha Youth Institution), Asociación de Escritores de Castilla La Mancha (AECLM) (Castilla La Mancha Writers Association)and Local and Regional Poets and friends of Poetry.
